About us...

The FIREHOUSE COLLECTIVE is an emerging group of motivated artists, working in various media in Berkeley. We've come together under one name to establish community, develop our talents, expand our network, and cultivate artistic growth.

In the summer of 2006 our first artists moved into an empty space at 1835 Harmon Street (East Side/West Side Studios).

Since then, the Firehouse has seen phenomenal growth and development thanks to a dedicated few that have inspired a dedicated many!

This October, the Firehouse opened its new location in North Berkeley which will be home to 8 new artists as well as our Art Classroom and Gallery.
